This coffee is produced on the farm called Motherland Farmers located in the Nyamagabe district near the village of Kamiro. The owner, Fred Kasigwa, much like other local farmers, is continuing the long-running family tradition of growing coffee of the highest quality. Its excellent taste is due to the volcanic soil and plantation’s altitude of 1,700 - 2,000 m above sea level. The taste initially reveals a note of forest honey, which gradually turns into a strong tone of grapefruit. In addition to this citrusy edge, cocoa bean is evident in the aroma. The acidity is lemony, the body is beautifully rich.
