The tea is dominated by gently curled, dark green leaves contrasted with a certain amount of open, bright green ones. Mildly yellow in colour when infused, the aroma and taste resemble the flower of the dead-nettle plant run through with a clear tone of nettle.
Preparation guidelines: Use 12 g of tea (approx. 7 heaped tsp) for 1 l of water at the temperature of 85°C. Allow to infuse for 3 minutes then strain. Suitable for 1 infusion.
The Puttabong tea garden spreads out across altitudes from 457 to 1,981 m, making it one of the most elevated plantations.
