Loose-leaf black tea
The garden is located at an altitude of 1400 m above sea level on the eastern slopes of the Nilgiris, which slowly descend to the Arabian Sea. The local area called Wynaad was famous for gold mining in the past. Abandoned shafts can still be seen here today. Thick black leaves create a brown-orange infusion. Cocoa husks and sweet lemon can be detected in the aroma and taste.
Pour boiling water over the tea in a ratio of 1.5 dl to 1 teaspoon, if you brew the tea in a teapot, then add 1 teaspoon per teapot. Leave to infuse for 3-5 minutes. Then strain. It is possible to prepare 1 infusion.
