A washed coffee produced from the caturra varietal, the beans are sourced from the Carmen Estate farm run by Carlos Aguilera, the third generation of his family to work the land in Volcan Valley near the town of Chiriqui in the province of the same name. The trees grow at an altitude of 1,700 m.a.s.l. on steep hills under centuries-old rainforest vegetation and natural streams, lending the coffee a special quality. In the taste and aroma you will find chocolate in combination with raspberry and lime. The taste and aroma of this coffee feature tones of chocolate, raspberry and lime. The acidity is delicate, and the body layered and rich.
Preparation: select the correct grind of coffee corresponding to the method for preparing your favourite type. For 100 ml of water allow 7 g of ground coffee. Use hot water of 93-94°C.
