Originating in areas surrounding Mount Kenya, where the trees grow in deep, rich volcanic soils at high altitudes of up to 1,900 m.a.s.l., star fruit, lime and fine chocolate come through in the taste of the coffee, which has a mighty body and lemony acidity.
Preparation: grind the coffee to the correct size for the given brewing method. Allow 7 g of ground coffee per 100 ml of water (recommended temperature: 93-94°C).
