Preparation guidelines: Allow 1 teaspoon of tea for each 1.5 dl of water and one more for the teapot. Bring the water to the boil and then let it cool down to 70°C. Pour and leave it to infuse for 2 mins. Sieve and serve. Suitable for 3 infusions.
Kabusecha in Japanese means ‘shaded tea’. Kabuse are screens used for shading tea plantations. The leaves used in the production of this tea benefited from 50% shading for the period of 7 days. The needle-like, fresh green leaves give rise to a clear, yellow-golden infusion. Its aroma and taste are sweeping and long-lasting, dominated by walnut followed by a trace of pecan nut.
