Preparation guidelines: Use 12 g of tea (approx. 7 heaped tsp) for 1 l of water at the temperature of 85°C. Allow to infuse for 3 minutes then strain. Suitable for 1 infusion.
The Puttabong Tea Garden is located at an altitude of 457 - 1981 m and is one of the highest one. It is also one of the largest and oldest plantations in Darjeeling. The thick, dark green leaves release a light yellow infusion after being steeped. The aroma and taste are pleasantly sweet with notes of young nettle combined with green pear.
