This revered Chinese green tea is made from the finest buds that grow in the spring, and production of it is limited. The green leaves, boasting numerous white tips, are curled into small spirals. Brewing them creates a light yellow infusion with a breadth of flavours and aromas, ranging from subtle vegetal to fine fruity tones.
Preparation guidelines: Allow 1 teaspoon of tea for each 1.5 dl of water and one more for the teapot. Bring the water to the boil and then let it cool down to 70-80°C. Pour and leave it to infuse for 3-4 mins. Then strain. Suitable for 3 infusions.
