Infusions: 1Preparation guidelines: Allow 1 teaspoon of tea for each 1.5 dl of water and one more for the teapot. Bring the water to the boil and then let it cool down to 85°C. Pour and leave it to infuse for 3 minutes. Sieve and serve. Suitable for 1 infusion.
The Thurbo tea garden was established in 1872. It spreads out at the foot of the immense Kanchenjunga mountain, at the altitudes 762 – 1,890 m. Its regularly rolled green-brown leaves give a pale golden infusion. In the taste, it is unusually intense, full and juicy. At the start it is reminiscent of ripe peach, while grapefruit appears at the close.
