Infusions: 1Preparation guidelines: Allow 1 teaspoon of tea for each 1.5 dl of water and one more for the teapot. Bring the water to the boil and then let it cool down to 85°C. Pour and leave it to infuse for 3 minutes. Sieve and serve. Suitable for 1 infusion.
The Puttabong tea garden lies at altitudes from 457 to 1,981 m, placing it amongst the highest plantations in the world. Moreover, it is one of the largest and oldest tea gardens in Darjeeling. The regularly rolled green-brown leaves with silvery tips give an infusion of an intoxicating aroma with the taste of muscatel wine. Its flavour is full and intense, lingering long in the mouth.
