Golden black tea from the mountainous regions of the south Chinese province of Yunnan. Only fine buds are collected for its production. Its golden-brown leaves with golden tips create a clear infusion that is light to dark orange in colour. Both the taste and aroma of the infusion are sweet, reminiscent of honey and maple syrup.
Preparation guidelines: Bring the water to the boil and then let it cool down to 90° C. Use 12 g of tea (approx. 8 heaped tsp) for 1 litre of water. Allow to infuse for 3 minutes. Strain and serve. Suitable for 2 infusions.
