Preparation guidelines: Allow 1 teaspoon of tea for each 1.5 dl of water and one more for the teapot. Bring the water to the boil and then let it cool down to 95°C. Pour and leave it to infuse for 4 minutes. Sieve and serve. Suitable for 2 infusions.
This oolong comes from the Waldemar tea factory. Its history dates back to 1913, when it began to specialise in black tea manufacture. Only recently was it transformed to encompass production of oolong and green teas. It lies in the Uda Pussellawa region. Long, black-brown, finely rolled leaves give an infusion of a sweetish aroma and taste reminiscent of roasted almond.
