Golden Snail or Dian Hong Jin Luo from Yunnan Province is produced by the Bi Luo Chun molding method. One bud and two leaves are used to make tea, which are rolled into small golden coils. Black leaves with a large number of bright tips are rolled into the shape of snails. After pouring, they give an amber-colored infusion, the aroma and taste of which is dominated by forest honey. You can also find cocoa beans in the pleasantly sweet taste.
Preparation guidelines: Bring the water to the boil and then let it cool down to 90° C. Use 12 g of tea (approx. 5 heaped tsp) for 1 litre of water. Allow to infuse for 3 minutes. Then strain. Suitable for 1 infusion.
