This coffee from the area of Lake Kivu in the Democratic Republic of Congo is grown at altitudes of 1,450 to 2,000 m. Incredible variation in the microclimate makes for ideal conditions for producing a superior crop. A pleasant sweetness features in the aroma, mirrored in the taste as notes of strawberry jam and pecan nut. The body is rich and the acidity fine.
Preparation: select the correct grind of coffee corresponding to the method for preparing your favourite type. For 100 ml of water allow 7 g of ground coffee. Use hot water of 93-94°C.
