Preparation guidelines: Allow 1 teaspoon of tea for each 1.5 dl of water and one more for the teapot. Add freshly boiled water and leave it to infuse for 3-5 minutes. Sieve and serve. Suitable for 3 infusions.
Delicate black tea with a significant ratio of tips is produced from the small leaves of the Zhu Ye Zhong cultivar,which was until the middle of the 19th century used purely for production of green and yellow tea.As opposed to most black teas,the harvest is at the end of spring and at the beginning of summer. Black, regularly rolled leaves create an infusion with a delicately smoky hint.In the taste, the pleasant sweetness of sandalwood becomes gradually evident.
