Preparation guidelines: Allow 1 teaspoon of tea for each 1.5 dl of water and one more for the teapot. Bring the water to the boil and then let it cool down to 70-80°C. Pour and leave it to infuse for 2-3 mins. Sieve and serve. Suitable for 1-2 infusions.
The Selim Hill tea garden lies in the region of Kurseong. The entire area of the plantation is 370 hectares and tea is grown on 170 hectares. It is divided into upper and lower parts and comprises 4 villages. The dark green leaves give a green infusion of a sweetish aroma. In the taste is the sweetness of dried fig with a subtly creamy finish.
